At Finca Victoria, sustainability is not just a business goal—it’s a way of life and a necessity for the future. As part of our commitment to preserving the environment and cultural heritage, we launched various conservation and recovery programs. One of them gave birth to our Olive Tree Walk, a trail through different areas of the estate to appreciate hundreds of ancient olive trees rescued from various vineyards across Mendoza.
These old olive trees, over 80 years old and once destined to be firewood, have been given a second life at Finca Victoria. From them we produce our own olive oil, and their fruit—true to the Km0 philosophy—also nourishes our winery restaurant, 5 SUELOS – COCINA DE FINCA, through fresh dishes, pickled olives, and preserves.
Today, we have more than 370 recovered trees of the Arbequina, Frantoio, and Arauco varieties forming part of this interpretive walk, and our recovery program continues to welcome new olive trees each year.
