Las Compuertas is a region with rich history that is enormously valued. Our passion for wine and our love for this land motivate us to protect this traditional culture from being lost. This western region of Luján de Cuyo offers the coolest climate, an important diversity of soils and traditional viticultural methods that have continued to be used over the century.

PROYECTO LAS COMPUERTAS

The journey began in 2007 when the first 5 hectares of historical Malbec vineyards were purchased by the brothers, just around the corner from the winery, on Callejón de la Reta.  From that moment, they began to recover and revitalize the history and the traditions of an emblematic viticultural region of Lujan de Cuyo: Las Compuertas.  Over the course of time, they added more hectares and today have 34 in total which have been named in honor of their mother, Finca Victoria.  With this dedication, they aspire to develop, along with other local producers who maintain their vineyards with pride, the stewardship to offset the encroaching urbanization.
